An Assessment Camp for Senior Citizens and Persons with Disabilities (PwDs) was organized at Sagolband Tera, Imphal West District, Manipur by the Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons, Manipur, in collaboration with the Composite Regional Centre for Skill Development, Rehabilitation & Empowerment of Persons with Disabilities (CRCSRE), Takyel, and ALIMCO, Guwahati. The camp aimed to identify and distribute aids and assistive devices to beneficiaries under the ADIP Scheme and the Rashtriya Vayoshri Yojana (RVY). Speaking on the occasion, Joint Secretary Asem Surjit highlighted that the initiative sought to enhance the mobility, independence, and quality of life of senior citizens and persons with disabilities, reflecting the Centre’s continued commitment to their empowerment and well-being.
