Medical Treatment Support Program
We organized a Medical Treatment Support Program aimed at providing both medical assistance and emotional support to differently abled individuals. As part of the initiative, free hearing tests were conducted for children with hearing impairments under the guidance of a Special Educator (HI). The program also served as a platform for individuals and their families to share personal experiences, coping strategies, and practical information about various diseases and treatment options. The initiative emphasized the importance of support groups in bridging the gap between medical care and emotional well-being. While relationships with doctors or medical professionals may not always provide sufficient emotional support, and family members may struggle to fully understand the challenges of living with a disability, support groups offer a safe and compassionate space for empathy, shared experiences, and mutual encouragement.
