The Relief Centre for the Welfare of Differently Abled Persons, Manipur observed the 144th Birth Anniversary of Helen Adams Keller at Sagolband Tera Bazar. The event was conducted in a simple and respectful ceremony to honor the life and legacy of Helen Keller, a symbol of courage and determination for differently abled individuals worldwide.
During the observance, floral tributes and homage were offered to the portrait of Helen Adams Keller. The ceremony was led by the Founder and Media Advisor of the Centre, Shri Nimol Ningombam, along with other dignitaries, staff, and attendees.
The event served as a reminder of Helen Keller’s enduring contributions toward the empowerment and education of persons with disabilities and inspired participants to continue working toward inclusion and equal opportunities for all.
